A modern-day screwball comedy introduces us to Ella, an unforgettably charming elevator operator in a historic Milwaukee hotel, whose agoraphobia (fear of crowds and open places) has her sequestered to life in the elevator, living vicariously through her passengers. She befriends Ian, a handsome traveling business man, who is also 'stuck' in his own life's confines. When the antics of his suspicious wife leave Ian's reputation on the line, can Ella help clear his name?
