Forty years ago, Harris Wellborn wrote an off-Broadway musical which infamously closed after just one performance. We find the now-elderly tunesmith down on his luck, living in a run-down apartment building dependent on the charity of his domineering sister- yet still dreaming of making it on Broadway. The laughs unfold when the witty Harris is thrown together with the flaky young woman and her scheming boyfriend who live down the hall. Thanks to the magic of the internet, Wellborn’s life takes a hilarious and unexpected turn when his neighbors come up with a devious plan to cash in on Harris’ past.
